Welcome

Do you have an adopted sibling?  Or two or three or more?  Do you ever wonder if there are other kids out there like you – kids who know just what it’s like to have an adopted brother or sister?  This is an opportunity to hear from kids who really know what it's like to welcome a child into the family through adoption.  These are kids like us who were willing to share a glimpse of their lives with the rest of us.

We started this blog for a few reasons...

1) To let people know what's awesome and maybe not so awesome about having an adopted sibling.  The 3 of us all had different experiences and feelings when our adopted sister came home.  We know it's not the same for everyone.

2) Maybe some parents will read these interviews too and have a better idea of what it's like for us.

3) We want other kids to know there are others out there who get it.

4) We want to hear from other Siblings of Adopted Kids.

We hope you will get to hear from many different kids of all ages and with a variety of experiences on this blog. Hopefully every kid with an adopted sibling will relate to these interviews.

Many of us have never met another kid with adopted siblings.  Hopefully this will be the next best thing.
